Heather Gatt & Sue Slack
“Light and Land”

Carolyn Smith

“The landscape of the North York Moors provides
the inspiration for my drawings. Because of my
early training as a sculptor, I am drawn to the
sculptural qualities of this unique landscape and
I have tried to capture its special character.”

Tue 2 Nov - Fri 26 Nov
Sheila Heggs & Lorna Hilton & Graham Bell

Sheila Heggs likes to capture the atmosphere of a place rather than
reality. She works in any media that suits the image,
but always looking for unusual views and objects.

“I have a fascination for texture and mixed media.
In painting I try to use the experience of places to communicate the very spirit of the subject which fired my enthusiasm.” Lorna Hilton

“My aim is to paint pictures that tell a story especially
in still life and landscapes.” Graham Bell

Tue 30 Nov - Fri 24 Dec

United  Kingdom. He works from sketches
made in all winds and weathers. This exhibition will largely feature wildlife
and landscape paintings  in watercolour
and oil of Helmsley and surrounding
areas through the seasons.
