“The landscape of the North York Moors provides
the inspiration for my drawings. Because of my
early training as a sculptor, I am drawn to the
sculptural qualities of this unique landscape and
I have tried to capture its special character.”

Sheila Heggs & Lorna Hilton & Graham Bell
Sheila Heggs likes to capture the atmosphere of a place rather than
reality. She works in any media that suits the image,
but always looking for unusual views and objects.

“I have a fascination for texture and mixed media.
In painting I try to use the experience of places to communicate the very spirit of the subject which fired my enthusiasm.”
Lorna Hilton“My aim is to paint pictures that tell a story especially
in still life and landscapes.”
