Plot Synopsis

Based on the true story of Queen Elizabeth II’s father and his remarkable friendship with maverick speech therapist Lionel Logue THE KING’S SPEECH stars Academy Award nominee Colin Firth (A Single Man, Mamma Mia!) as King George VI, who is unexpectedly thrust into the international spotlight when his brother Edward abdicates.
