Trip to Thorpe Perrow - Tues 16th October

Thorp Perrow is situated close to the historic town of Bedale in the Yorkshire Dales.
Not only is it a family house, but has the most important Arboretum in the North of England.
The Arboretum covers 100 acres and is currently home to 5 National Plant collections and 51Champion Trees.   It is home to some of the largest and rarest trees and shrubs in England.
There are also displays at the Birds of Prey and Mammal Centre.

October is a glorious month to see the Arboretum at its best in a blaze of autumnal colour.
A guided tour has been arranged for our party and will enhance your visit.   Mobility scooters
 available if booked in advance.

So come and join the Friends of Helmsley Arts Centre for a day of exploration and enjoyment
on Tuesday the 16th October.

An excellent on site café will cater for your food and beverage  requirements, and our bus
will pick you up at various points in Ryedale.   Full details to be released shortly.
