Opus Hatch: He Wants To Friend You

Who is Opus Hatch?

Opus Hatch is a young man on the go.  He’s a mover and a groover, shaking things up and partying down.  He’s a tall drink of water reaching the parts that other men cannot reach.  And this is your lucky day, because Opus Hatch wants to be your friend.

‘OPUS HATCH: HE WANTS TO FRIEND YOU’ is a play that explores the modern phenomenon of on-line social media.  Technology has enabled us to connect in unprecedented ways, opening us up and bringing us closer, while at the same time rendering us more closed off and detached from real human contact.

This is a play for our time, a ‘Frankenstein’ for the digital age.  Written by the dynamic creative writing team from Rotherham, Karen Mulcahey and T. Rafiq, and presented in association with On the Road Again Productions, Plum Pie Media and Open Minds Theatre Company, ‘OPUS HATCH’ is an eye popping, multi media stage production that will take your breath away and give you food for thought. All the colour and the glamour of the on-line world is here, a world packaged to seduce – but once the laptop lid has been lifted, you may find all is not as alluring as you first thought.Opus Hatch
