The continuing success of the Arts Centre has been largely the result of the dedication of our volunteers. We couldn’t exist without them. As we have grown and broadened our appeal the workload  has increased.

Although we have about eighty volunteers already, we need more. We are  especially concerned that some of us have accumulated too many jobs and are looking to share some of these out. And, of course, for one reason or another, people come and go.

It doesn’t matter how little time you can manage to offer, we’ll be glad to use it. And for those who can and would like to do more, we have a number of jobs waiting for you too.

For example, you may want to

• Join our front-of-house teams
• Work behind the bar
• Be one of the Friday morning café  and/or cake-making staff
• Help with the ballet classes
• Contribute to running the website or blog
• Choose one of a lot more jobs that need doing

Come and discuss with us the possibilities and choose to do whatever you can  fit into your schedule. And if you do, you’ll be:

• Given whatever training  you need to do the job and support by fellow volunteers
• Offered free tickets to some of our events, in proportion to how much time you put in
• Part of a lively and friendly social group of like-minded people

And you’ll have the satisfaction of working for a creative and thoroughly worthwhile cause.
