1812 Theatre Company present Absent Friends by Alan Ayckbourn

This classic comedy sees Colin’s friends arrange a tea-party to comfort him over his recent bereavement. They are understandably on edge about what to say to him. However, Colin’s total acceptance of his situation - and the fulfilling time spent with his fiancée - only serves to highlight and widen the rifts in the relationships of his friends Diana, Paul, John, Evelyn and Marge.

‘Ayckbourn’s finest play’, Harold Hobson, Sunday Times.

Please note there will be a 30min Q&A with the Director,  Cast and Crew following the Friday 22nd performance. There is no additional charge for the Q&A and audiences are very welcome to get a drink from the bar before coming back to the theatre for the Q&A.

This is a 1812 Theatre Company performance
