Every score tells two stories: the one on screen and the one the composer can't stop hearing in their own head. After twenty years spent drifting from gig to gig as a musician-for-hire, without ever explaining why he left, a cellist and former prodigy returns to Los Angeles and starts recording again – and the music itself starts dragging his past back to the surface.
