Based on the edge of the North York Moors, Jessica is an artist printmaker exploring the impact of water & ice on our landscape over time. Combining screenprint, woodcut, monoprint & etching with diverse media such as gouache & acrylic ink, her work draws from organic patterns & shapes made by water & ice. She details their effect on the topography of the National Park by highlighting the shapes of its high ground & the curls of its rivers, to the ephemeral ice patterns found in puddles and windows in winter.
In time and with water, everything changes. Leonardo da Vinci
