At Helmsley Arts Centre we have recently been awarded funds from Arts Council England to run a year long Youth Inclusion Programme.
The central part of the programme will be a ‘Take Over’ festival where we hope to encourage and support a team of young people (aged 13-24) to ‘take over’ Helmsley Arts centre with their own festival for a full weekend. The team will have the opportunity to shadow our professional team and gain experience in all aspects of running a multi arts festival.
They will have a budget and will be in control of Programming, Finance, Marketing, Events, Front of house, Box Office and everything else!
We are looking for a team of 10 young people from across Ryedale who would like to apply to take part in this high quality experience.
