Ben Goldscheider was a prize-winner at the 2019 YCAT International Auditions, Concerto Finalist in the 2016 BBC Young Musician Competition is now considered a leading horn soloist performing around the world. Also a prize winner of the YCAT International Auditions, Benjamin Baker came from New Zealand to study in the UK and following competition success in the USA and New Zealand has established an international presence as a soloist and chamber musician. Described by the Times as “a composer to be reckoned with”, Huw Watkins is also a highly-regarded pianist who has performed with many of the UK’s most esteemed chamber ensembles, and in this special programme also performs one of his own works.
