Forest Watercolour Workshop with Ione Harrison

This workshop focuses on capturing the atmospheric beauty of forests at this time of year using exciting watercolour techniques. Embrace your creativity and learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, from absolute beginners to anyone wanting to explore new techniques. Limited drawing needed. After an exploration of the colours and techniques, you’ll by guided step by step to create an autumn forest painting to take home with you. Using a limited but vibrant palette, you’ll explore some fun and easy to use techniques (salt, spatter and wax resist) as well as practising more traditional washes and wet in wet painting.

All materials are provided and included in the price so you just need to bring yourself. An apron and something to take your lovely painting(s) home with you would also be useful. If would like to bring along some sketches or photos of your own to base your painting on then that's of course fine. The course runs from 10am to 1pm.

If you have any questions at all, please do email [email protected].
