Trilogy Ensemble: Call For Visual Art - 'From Isolation to Connected'

Welcome to Trilogy Ensemble’s virtual event ‘From Isolation to Connected’. Brought to you live online from Helmsley Arts Centre on Saturday 20th March 2021, a concert of music for Flute, Harp and Viola centered around your visual art. Exploring experiences of the Pandemic, and looking at how connections and isolation have affected you and your community.

We need your help! To complete this event, we need you to get involved! The ensemble are looking for visual art from you at home. Send us your photos, pictures, videos, drawings, poems, written prose - anything visual. To celebrate your area and local community but to also explore 'what affected you locally during the Pandemic, both in a positive and negative way'.

We are especially keen to hear from local Yorkshire people (near the Helmsley Arts Centre), but anyone and all ages can get involved! Your artwork will be shown throughout the event connected to the music. Including a brand new piece, written in the first 2020 lockdown, on the theme of isolation by York based composer David Lancaster.

Experience your visual stories brought to life!

Videos a maximum of 1 minute long in mp4 format, please send photos and pictures/scans of your drawings in jpeg format. Write a little note to explain your visual art - where was it created? Who was involved? What does it mean to you?

Email your artwork to [email protected] Deadline 28th February 2021. We look forward to hearing from you!
